"hello everyone,
Today is the 12th of September. I am currently packing up my stuff so that I can come rock the United of States with 4 of my favorite people, and 2 of my favorite bands (coincidentally, also filled with my favorite people). We in My Chemical Romance are about to embark on a headlining tour in celebration of loving you guys and loving rock and roll. We are going to get onto a bus. The bus is going to take us to Rhode Island, and continue to take us to other cities! Before you know it, we'll be where you are and that will be fantastic! It's all too exciting for me to think about. We are playing the very arena that Donald Way took me and my brother to see the circus and pro wrestling when we were three apples high. Mindblowing! (I think Gerard saw Springsteen there too) I want to thank everyone who spent their time to vote for us for the VMAs. We didn't win anything, but never fret! They'll be plenty of time for moon people shaped statues some other day. We were just so excited to be a part of it all. I got to hang out and meet so many wonderful artists and musicians that I have admired forever. Oh yeah, and i got to sit by Jay Z. I also want to thank everyone that has endlessly voted for us on total request live. The Ghost of You has reached number one after 3 short days of being released! Thankyouthankyou! Now everybody gets to watch me die,..repeatedly! Well, I'm going to spend the last valuable shreds of time off with my friends and family. Get ready for the rock show people.

ok, so i watched the VMAs like two days ago, along with many of you guys im sure. and yes, MCR did NOT win any of their 5 nominees. i was soo effin sure that they are gonna take at least one moonman home with them, but everything just went wrong! everytime i heard their name as being nominated, i was all ready to see them come up to the stage and say their thank yous..but everytime, i was wrong. it sucks so much, it even made me cry. the lame MTV judges man...it was NOT a fair show in my mind at ALL.  but that's okay! bvecause first of all it's MTV awards we're talkin about. and you all know that MTV is not the best chanel for rock music. and secondly, for the MTV2 awards and the Viewers choice awards that the fans could votre for, Green Day [btw, good for em for winning 7!!] and Fall out Boy won. those two bands are HUGE, like they have so much more fans, especially Green Day for being around for so long. there is always a next year, so let's be ready to vote our asses even more off to vote and prove em that we really DO care and ARE the best effin fans in the world


plus, they dont need a MTV award to show that they ARE one of the best bands around, seriously, in our hearts we love them so much and that is ALL that matters. hope MCR understands and hope they move on, because i havent recieved any new mails from em

it says that the girl [Helena] that danced during the MCR set was from Green Day's performance! wtf? how could they make that stupid mistake? i mean Greeen Day performed at the beginning and MCR was way in the end!!

    My Chemical Romance will make a special appearance on Saturday at New York club Luke & Leroy's — as DJs. The band is joining the MisShapes crew, who've played clubs around New York with such guest spinners as Hilary Duff, Kelly Clarkson, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol and, most recently, Fall Out Boy.



• On September 23rd, Eyeball Records will be releasing a limited edition, enhanced version of I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love featuring their videos for "Honey This Mirror..." and "Vampires Will Never Hurt You".

• MCR will be covering "Astro Zombies" by The Misfits exclusively for a video game entitled "Tony Hawk's American Wasteland".

• Want to buy old-school MCR merch?
